Young leaders heading to Fiji

Did you know Mosaic, our youth-work mission unit in Taranaki has been piloting a leadership development program? The Young Leaders Missional Internship.  As a part of this program we seek to help our developing young leaders participate in a cross cultural exposure and education experience.

We have been working with NZCMS, Anglican Missions, and the Diocese of Polynesia to arrange for two of our YLMI interns, with additional support from two of our young leaders to visit Fiji for 10 days at the end of November as a part of this process.

This trip will help them assess the way their theology is formed and shaped by the culture they have been raised in, will help them understand in new ways the work of the Anglican church around our province, they will see first hand the work of our key partners NZCMS and Anglican Missions.

While we are well on our way to meeting our funding goals for this trip, we still need some more help!

We know many of you and your parishes are passionate about mission work, and would love to see the next generation get excited about this too. Would you or your parish consider a donation towards making this trip possible? We hope that this may be the first of many ways we continue to raise a generation of young people excited about serving the global church.
